TOP 5 THINGS
The Jacksonville Home + Patio Show returns for its fall edition September 30-October 3 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. With the pandemic fueling an uptick in people refreshing and rehabbing their homes, you might be wondering the best way to maximize your visit to get the biggest bang for your buck. Not to worry, we’ve put together our top 5 tips for navigating the show:
- Make A Game Plan. With the Jacksonville Home + Patio Show’s virtual showroom, you can pre-plan your visit to maximize time and productivity. Online you can find exhibitors in the categories that interest you, then make your list and come armed with a plan of attack. Visit Virtual Showroom | Jacksonville Fall Home + Patio Show (jacksonvillefallhomeshow.com).
- Fuel Up At Food Truck Rally. On Friday and Sunday, some of North Florida’s most popular food trucks will be parked just outside the exhibit hall so you can stop by for a mid-shop pit stop. Tables will be set up outside and distanced for guest wellness enhancements. Indulge in Cuban, pizza, dessert and more.
Special Days. The show is recognizing several different groups during the show – so be sure to check and see if you or your friends and family fall into any of them before you hit the box office. Thursday, September 30 is Senior Day, tickets for seniors aged 60 and up are available for $5 online and at the box office. Thursday is also Trade Professionals Day - all home-related tradespeople or members of an affiliated association get complimentary admission to the show with valid ID (includes business cards, association membership cars, vocational and trade school IDs). Hero Day is celebrated on Friday, October 1– all active military personnel, veterans, EMTs, nurses, healthcare workers, firefighters, police and medical personnel receive complimentary admission with valid ID (offer only with ID, and only on Friday). Teacher Day is Sunday, October 3. Teachers will receive complimentary admission to the show with valid faculty ID at the box office on Sunday.
Shop, Compare, Save. One trip to the Jacksonville Home + Patio Show can replace multiple stops running around town, in and out of stores, searching for parking, and wondering if you are if you are in fact getting the best pricing for projects. Local experts at the show often offer their deepest discounts as show specials to our guests, and with so many home improvement experts you can shop, compare and save under one roof. In fact, our average guest spends about 2.5 hours with us – that's a fraction of the time you’d spend driving from the beaches to Orange Park to Southside to Baymeadows...and no traffic.
Buy Advance Tickets. Another great way to save time and money is by purchasing your tickets in advance. Go to Jacksonville Home + Patio Show Fall 2021 (mpetickets.com) and save $2 off admission and skip the lines.
